React Health (formerly 3B Medical) · Auto CPAP (APAP)
3B Medical Luna II CPAP / Auto CPAP
The Luna II is the earlier 3B Medical generation of the Luna, sold as the Luna II CPAP (LG2000, fixed pressure, 2.4 inch screen) and Luna II Auto CPAP (LG2A00, auto, 3.5 inch screen), both 4 to 20 cm H2O. It has a dedicated Ramp button, a mute button, humidity indicator lights and an optional heated humidifier, with heated tubing added through a separate 3B ComfortLine kit. It is no longer on React Health's current machine lineup, but its manuals and parts remain available through suppliers.
As of October 2026 React Health's PAP devices page lists the G3 X, TravelPAP and G3 Bilevel models but not the Luna II, while the Luna II manuals and quick guides remain on its patient resources page and its parts stay in the supply guide. We found no formal discontinuation notice, so treat "discontinued" as meaning it is no longer offered as a new machine. We found no FDA recall of the Luna II: FDA's recall database lists 3B Medical recalls for an oxygen cannula, an oxygen concentrator and Rio II nasal pillow masks, and BMC Medical's only listed recall is the 2026 Luna G3 APAP firmware recall. React Health also says it does not use the type of foam involved in the 2021 Philips recall.

Strengths and trade-offs
Strengths
- Physical Ramp button restarts the ramp without opening a menu
- Humidity level is visible at a glance from the indicator lights
- Uses standard 22 mm tubing and the common Luna filters sold through suppliers
- Runs on 100 to 240 V, so it works abroad with a plug adapter
Trade-offs
- No longer offered as a new machine, so your supplier may push you toward a newer model when it needs replacing
- Heated tubing is not built in; it needs the separate ComfortLine kit with its own power supply
- Heavier and larger than the G3 (1.9 kg versus 1.7 kg)
- React Health makes no battery or DC cord for Luna devices
- The fixed pressure LG2000 has no auto mode, so pressure changes always need your clinician
Comfort settings you can change
These are in the patient menu. Your prescribed pressure and therapy mode are set by your clinician and are not covered here.
Humidifier
Sets the heated humidifier from Off to 1 to 5; the number of lit blue lights on the front matches the level.
How to change it: From the main screen, press and hold the Ramp button for three seconds to open the patient menu. Turn the knob to the setup icon and press the knob; turn to move between options, press to select (the option turns yellow), turn to adjust, and press to confirm (it turns blue). Choose Back, then Home, to exit. The option is Humidifier.
Ramp
Drops pressure and climbs back to your prescription over the ramp time; adjustable in 5 minute steps. Press the Ramp button any time during the night to restart it. Ramp is not prescribed for everyone.

Cleaning and care
Every day: water chamber
Let the water cool to room temperature, remove the chamber and empty it. The manual recommends daily cleaning: soak 5 minutes in a 1% Alconox solution in warm water (113 to 140°F), brush for one minute, rinse 5 minutes under running water, and dry with a lint-free cloth or in the air out of sunlight. Refill with distilled water only.
Weekly: tube
The Luna II manual recommends cleaning the tube once a week following the tube's own instructions. Warm water and mild soap, a thorough rinse and hanging it to dry is the usual method; replace it if it cracks.
Weekly: outside of the machine
Wipe the enclosure, and the cellular module if you have one, with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Let it dry before use and never immerse the device.
Filter
Rinse the reusable filter under running tap water when it is dirty, pressing gently, then let it dry completely. Replace it every 6 months, or sooner if it is dirty or damaged. Unplug the machine before changing it.
What not to use
No bleach, chlorine, aromatic or scented solutions, and no moisturizing or antibacterial soaps. React Health says damage from an ozone cleaner may end the warranty and that SoClean use voids it.
Replacement parts

Troubleshooting
It will not start when I press the knob.
Check the power chain. If Auto On is enabled, take a few deep breaths with the mask on and it should start. If the screen is frozen, unplug for 20 seconds and plug back in.
Water collects in my mask or tube.
Turn the humidity down, use a tube cover or tuck the tube under the blanket, and keep the lowest point of the tube below your head. A ComfortLine heated tube also helps.
My nose is dry or stuffy.
Turn the humidity up. If congestion lasts, talk to your physician and keep using therapy unless they tell you otherwise.
Dry mouth.
Usually mouth leak. The manual suggests a chin strap or a full face mask; choose with your supplier.
Pressure feels low.
Ramp may still be running; wait it out or shorten Ramp Time. Check the filter and air inlet. If you think the prescribed pressure itself is off, call your clinician.
The pressure feels too strong to get used to.
The manual notes it can take up to four weeks to adapt to pressurized air. Use ramp and RESlex if available and breathe through your nose. If it still feels wrong, contact your physician.
Ear, sinus or nasal pain.
The manual says contact your physician immediately for sinus or middle ear pain.
Air feels hot or the machine is noisy.
Replace or rinse the filter, clear the air inlet, keep the machine 20 cm from walls and curtains, and reseat the tube.
Travel and power
React Health's August 2024 travel compliance letter lists the Luna II (G2) CPAP/APAP as tested to RTCA/DO-160 Section 21, Category M, and the manual says it meets FAA requirements for all phases of air travel. Carry it on in its case rather than checking it, bring the letter and a spare filter, and empty the water chamber before packing. It runs on 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz. React Health does not make a battery or DC cord for Luna devices.
Your sleep data
The Luna II shows your compliance data as a six part iCode or as iCode QR and QR+ codes on screen, which the React Health app (formerly the 3B Luna QR Code app) can scan, and it can record to an SD card. An optional cellular module sends data to your provider's React Health Connect (formerly iCodeConnect) account, and React Health publishes a video for Luna II Wi-Fi setup. React Health cannot give patients their reports, so ask your supplier. For OSCAR, the 2.x release notes describe support for ReactHealth/BMC G3 and G3X machines and a legacy BMC loader, but they do not name the Luna II, so we could not confirm that OSCAR imports Luna II SD cards.
Supplies that can help
Distilled water is what most CPAP humidifier chambers are meant to be filled with, because it leaves little or no mineral scale behind.
The air inlet filter keeps dust and lint out of the machine and your airway; it is a cheap part that needs regular replacement.
Tubing with a built-in heating wire that keeps humidified air warm all the way to the mask, which is the main fix for rainout (water droplets …
The removable water tank of a CPAP humidifier; it wears and needs replacing, especially if it cracks, clouds or leaks.
The plain hose between the machine and the mask; it wears out and should be replaced on a regular schedule.
A fabric sleeve that slips over CPAP tubing to insulate it, reduce condensation and make the hose feel softer against your skin.
A soft strap that supports the jaw to help keep the mouth closed, used mainly with nasal and nasal pillow masks to reduce mouth leaks.
Plain, mild dish soap is the cleaning agent most CPAP makers and the FDA point to for masks, tubing and humidifier chambers.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Luna II still made?
React Health no longer lists it on its current PAP devices page, which features the G3 X, TravelPAP and G3 Bilevel models. Its manuals and parts are still on React Health's site and in the supply guide, so you can keep using and resupplying it through your supplier.
Was the 3B Luna II recalled?
We found no FDA recall for the Luna II in FDA's recall database. The 2026 Class I recall covers only Luna G3 APAP (LG3600) units with one firmware version. React Health also says its devices do not use the foam involved in the 2021 Philips recall.
Can I get heated tubing for my Luna II?
Yes, React Health says optional heated tubing is available: the 3BCL1000 3B ComfortLine Heated Tubing Kit with Power Supply, with 3BCL1010 replacement tubes. Order it through your supplier.
How do I open the Luna II patient menu?
Press and hold the Ramp button for three seconds from the main screen. Turn the knob to the setup icon, press it, then turn and press to change humidity, ramp time, RESlex (if your provider enabled it), Delay and mask type.
How do I find my iCode on the Luna II?
The iCode is on the third icon in the patient menu, after you hold the Ramp button for three seconds. You can read the number codes to your provider or scan the QR or QR+ code with the React Health app.
