Transcend 365 miniCPAP

Transcend 365 miniCPAP error codes and alerts

Find the message on your screen below. Most alerts clear with a simple check: the water chamber seated, the tube connected, the filter clean. If a code keeps coming back after the fix, stop using the machine and contact your equipment supplier or the manufacturer.

Red home icon

What it means: The machine found a fault, reset itself and is waiting in a fault loop. Turning it off and on brings you back to the same fault.

What to do: On the home screen, with the home icon highlighted, press Center to see the fault number. Move down to the check mark and press Center to clear it; the machine restarts in Standby. Somnetics suggests clearing any fault once, because a brief glitch can trigger one. If the same number comes back, contact your supplier or Somnetics at 877-621-9626.

1 Date/time reset

What it means: The machine's clock was reset, which can come from a drained backup clock battery, a power spike or a static shock.

What to do: Clear the fault. If it keeps returning, contact your supplier, since the clock affects your compliance records.

2 Stack overflow

What it means: An internal software fault.

What to do: Clear the fault once. If it returns, contact your supplier or Somnetics.

3 Pressure too high

What it means: During therapy the pressure sensor read more than 30 cm H2O. This can be a pinched or disconnected internal pressure tube or a sensor or electronics fault.

What to do: Check that your air tube is pushed on fully, that your mask fits without leaking and that the filter is in place and clean, then clear the fault. If it repeats, stop using the machine and call your supplier.

4 No pressure

What it means: During therapy the sensor read about 0 cm H2O, which can mean the air tube is open or disconnected, or an internal sensor problem.

What to do: Reconnect the air tube firmly at both ends, check your mask fit and the filter, and clear the fault. If it returns, contact your supplier.

5 Self-test fault

What it means: The machine failed its power-on self test.

What to do: Clear the fault and unplug and replug the power. If it comes back, contact your supplier.

6 Attempt to set invalid time

What it means: Something tried to set the internal clock to an impossible value.

What to do: Clear the fault. If it repeats, contact your supplier.

7 Pressure sensor out of range

What it means: In Standby the pressure sensor read outside its normal range. A blocked internal pressure tube, a quick change in room temperature or a sensor fault can cause it.

What to do: Let the machine sit at room temperature, check the hose, mask fit and filter, and clear the fault. If it returns, contact your supplier.

8 Unable to reconcile compliance log

What it means: At startup the machine could not rebuild the index of your usage records.

What to do: Clear the fault. If it repeats, contact your supplier before you need a compliance report.

9 Bad firmware checksum

What it means: Part of the machine's firmware appears corrupted, often from static discharge or a hardware problem.

What to do: Clear the fault once. If it returns, the machine needs service from your supplier or Somnetics.

11 Stalled blower

What it means: During therapy the blower stopped moving for 2 seconds, likely a blower motor, connector or electronics fault.

What to do: Clear the fault. If it repeats, stop using the machine and contact your supplier.

12 Low power

What it means: The blower stalled and the voltage was too low to spin it, which points to the power supply or battery.

What to do: Try the original PSA3 wall power supply on a different outlet, or recharge the P10 battery. If it repeats on wall power, contact your supplier.

13 Processor over-temp

What it means: The main chip reported excessive temperature.

What to do: Move the machine away from heat, curtains and bedding, check the filter and hose, and clear the fault. If it repeats, contact your supplier.

14 Blower over-temp

What it means: The blower temperature sensor reported excessive heat.

What to do: Check that the air inlet is not blocked, the filter is clean, the hose is connected and the mask is not leaking, then clear the fault. If it returns, contact your supplier.

Flashing blue droplet (out of water)

What it means: The reservoir is empty, so the humidifier will not run during therapy. If there is water in the reservoir, moisture inside the CPAP may be causing a false reading.

What to do: Refill with distilled water. If water is already there, run Drying Mode, then unplug and replug the power to reset the indicator.

Flashing yellow droplet and diamond (tap water detected)

What it means: Water less pure than distilled was detected. The humidifier still works but heater life is shortened and the heater warranty may be affected.

What to do: Empty the reservoir, rinse it with distilled water and refill with distilled water. If it persists, run Drying Mode and then unplug and replug the power.

Flashing red droplet and X (bad water signal)

What it means: The water sensor signal is corrupted, most likely from moisture in the CPAP. The humidifier is disabled.

What to do: Run Drying Mode, then unplug and replug the power to reset. If it stays, call your supplier or Somnetics.

Flashing red X next to the humidifier icon (heater detached or damaged)

What it means: The heater cartridge is not detected or has failed, so the humidifier is disabled.

What to do: Contact your supplier or Somnetics for repair or replacement of the heater cartridge.

Red droplet during therapy

What it means: The humidifier switched off during the night because of one of the water or heater conditions above. Your CPAP pressure is not affected.

What to do: After therapy, look at the home screen in Standby to see which water or heater indicator is showing and follow its fix.
