React Health Luna G3 Auto CPAP

React Health Luna G3 Auto CPAP error codes and alerts

Find the message on your screen below. Most alerts clear with a simple check: the water chamber seated, the tube connected, the filter clean. If a code keeps coming back after the fix, stop using the machine and contact your equipment supplier or the manufacturer.

Power Failure!!!

What it means: The machine lost power while it was blowing air. It beeps after about 6 seconds; nothing shows on the screen because there is no power.

What to do: Check that the power cord is pushed into the wall, the cord is seated in the power adapter, and the adapter plug is fully in the DC inlet on the back. Try another outlet. The machine restores its previous state when power returns.

Device Fault!!!

What it means: The machine detected that no airflow is coming out.

What to do: Stop, unplug for about 20 seconds and plug back in. If it comes back, stop using the machine and call your equipment supplier, who works with React Health on repairs. Do not open the case.

Leak!!

What it means: The air leak is too high while therapy is running.

What to do: Refit your mask: lie in your sleeping position, loosen and re-tighten the headgear evenly, and check that the tubing is pushed fully onto the machine and the mask. Run the Mask Fitting Test from the patient menu. A worn or wrong size cushion is a common cause; ask your supplier about a replacement or a different size.

Low Input Voltage!!

What it means: The power adapter is supplying less than 22 V.

What to do: Make sure you are using the React Health power adapter that came with the machine and that it is plugged into a working wall outlet. If the alert keeps coming back, the adapter may be failing; contact your supplier.

Humidifier Failure!!

What it means: The heated humidifier is not working.

What to do: Turn off and unplug the machine, let the heater plate cool, then reseat the water chamber and transfer box. If it repeats, you can keep using therapy with humidity off for the night and call your supplier.

Please Change Filter!

What it means: The filter replacement reminder you or your provider set has come due.

What to do: Replace or clean the filter, then reset the filter use time under Accessories in the patient menu so the reminder restarts.

Please Replace Tubing!

What it means: The tubing replacement reminder has come due.

What to do: Swap in new tubing (your supplier can order it), then reset the tubing timer under Accessories in the patient menu.

Please Replace Mask!

What it means: The mask replacement reminder has come due.

What to do: Order a replacement mask or cushion through your supplier, then reset the mask timer under Accessories.

SD Card Full!

What it means: The SD card has reached its storage limit.

What to do: Ask your supplier or clinician whether they need the data, then get a replacement card. Only remove the SD card when the machine is not blowing air.

Reinsert SD Card!

What it means: The SD card is not working or not seated.

What to do: With airflow off, remove the card and push it back in firmly until the correct-insertion symbol appears on the main screen. If it persists, ask your supplier for a new card.

Error

What it means: On units running recalled firmware G3-2.00.76 with configuration G3 A20-31.cfg, a debug code can display "Error" and shut the machine down when very high pressure, breathing rate and peak flow occur together (FDA Class I recall Z-2979-2026).

What to do: Check your serial number at https://en.bmc-medical.com/rc-adh.html and call your device provider for a replacement. FDA's notice says to keep using the device as prescribed until the replacement arrives. React Health's recall line is 863-226-6285.
