Fisher & Paykel SleepStyle (Auto and CPAP) error codes and alerts

Find the message on your screen below. Most alerts clear with a simple check: the water chamber seated, the tube connected, the filter clean. If a code keeps coming back after the fix, stop using the machine and contact your equipment supplier or the manufacturer.

100 to 199 Error code in the 100 to 199 range on the display

What it means: The machine may not be able to give effective therapy. It may have shut down or may not reach your prescribed pressure.

What to do: Turn the power off and on at the wall to restart. If the error persists or returns, consult your healthcare provider; do not try to repair the machine.

What it means: Humidity may have been disabled. The machine is still safe to use and still treats you at your prescribed pressure, just without humidity.

What to do: Turn the power off and on at the wall to restart. If it keeps happening, contact your provider.

510 or 512 Error code 510 or 512 on the display

What it means: There may be a problem with the ThermoSmart breathing tube. You are still treated and still get humidity, but it may not be optimal.

What to do: Reconnect the ThermoSmart tube until the ThermoSmart icon appears on the home screen, or turn the power off and on at the wall.

ThermoSmart icon has a line through it or is missing

What it means: The ThermoSmart tube is not connected correctly or has an error, or you are using a standard tube.

What to do: Remove the tube and reconnect it so the electrical connectors click into place.

InfoUSB icon has a line through it or is missing

What it means: The InfoUSB is not connected correctly; therapy works but data may not be recorded to it.

What to do: Take the InfoUSB out and reinsert it until the icon appears.

Bluetooth or modem icon has a line through it

What it means: Bluetooth or the modem is turned off or failed to connect; therapy is not affected.

What to do: Turn Bluetooth off and on on your phone, or turn the setting off and on on the SleepStyle. For the modem, turn it off and on again from the same settings menu.
