Breas Medical CPAP machines and masks
Breas Medical is a Swedish respiratory company (Breas Medical AB) best known for home ventilators; its US arm, Breas Medical, Inc., is based in North Billerica, Massachusetts, and is where the Z2 Auto travel CPAP was designed and assembled. The Z line of ultra-small travel CPAPs started under the HDM (Human Design Medical) name: FDA's 510(k) database lists Human Design Medical, LLC as the applicant for the Z1 CPAP System, cleared in October 2014. Breas says it has discontinued the Z Sleep Travel CPAP line (Z1, Z2, Z1 Auto and Z2 Auto), the PowerShell battery and the Q-tube effective November 30, 2025. Service parts and patient accessories stay on sale through October 2030 (no returns), and warranty and service continue under Breas's normal policy.
