Philips Respironics System One REMstar 60 Series error codes and alerts
Find the message on your screen below. Most alerts clear with a simple check: the water chamber seated, the tube connected, the filter clean. If a code keeps coming back after the fix, stop using the machine and contact your equipment supplier or the manufacturer.
Service Required Service required
What it means: Device failure. It enters Safe State with power on but airflow disabled, with a high priority two-beep alarm.
What to do: Press the wheel or Ramp button to silence it, unplug and replug the power cord. If it continues, contact your home care provider.
Mask Alert Mask alert
What it means: The breathing circuit is disconnected or there is a large air leak.
What to do: Turn off airflow, check and reconnect the tubing, make sure the mask is on properly and restart. If it keeps happening, have your mask checked or refitted.
Auto Off Auto off
What it means: The mask was removed and airflow shut off about 45 to 60 seconds later.
What to do: Put the mask back on and turn the airflow on.
Humidifier Alert Humidifier icon flashes
What it means: Humidifier failure.
What to do: Turn off airflow and reconnect the humidifier per its instructions. Contact your provider if it continues.
Power Supply Alert Humidifier icon flashes orange for 30 seconds
What it means: Wrong power supply for the heated tube.
What to do: Use the 80 W power supply with the heated tube.
